Alyson has over 25 years’ experience of leading strategy, planning and transformation delivery, ​and is passionate about delivering high impact change that puts customers, colleagues and communities at their heart. ​Operating both within, and as an external advisor to, a large range of complex organisations and stakeholder groups in ​a wide range of sectors​, she is skilled in ensuring strategies and plans are relevant, practical and joined up, that delivery is focused and aligned, and colleagues and stakeholders positively ​engaged.

Alyson began her career with LEK Consulting, working in both the UK and USA before joining Co-op Bank, where she led the integration with Co-op Insurance, building a broad-based ethical financial services offering to UK Retail customers. From there Alyson became ​Group Strategy Director for ​Co-op Group​, ​and played a pivotal role in the rescue and relaunch of the Co-op, leading the Purpose and Ambition reset, the development and delivery of the new Membership offer and operating model across all Co-op’s businesses, a revitalised community strategy and the identification of future digital growth options.

Over the last 2 years Alyson has been operating as a ​strategic advisor, consultant and mentor supporting scale ups and larger established businesses as well as a Non-Exec in the charity and retail sectors.
